sesame street live!!....

This weekend we headed in town on the train to see Sesame Street Live! While the subway was a huge hit in and of itself, both boys loved the show. Henry sat captivated the entire time and at one point got up and started to dance along with the characters. Luke did enjoy it too; although he loved the train the best, I think, with counting the stops and looking at the map with the different stations and figuring out the station names.

"I love the subway train..."

"Choo Choo train!!"

Waiting for the show to begin!!

surprise trip...

Labor Day, we woke up to a Daddy surprise--Six Flags!! Both boys were big enough to ride all the smaller rides and they had a great time!! For Henry, aka "Mr Choo Choo," the Thomas village and train was the highlight of the day.

Smiles on the swings...but tears for Henry on the Ferris wheel. :(

Thomas!

All the boys by Thomas...

Nice horsie...

This was his face on the big train that circled the park...

The conductor of the train invited Henry to come up and ring the bell---heaven!

A big day....

2 yr checkup...

Henry had his two-yr checkup this week as well. No shots this time (not until 4 when he gets 4, as Luke recently endured) but he did get the FluMist spray in his nose which always goes over well. Other than that, he is in perfect health--firmly in the terrible 2s and loving it!! He has a good vocabulary, but like his brother, he does have some articulation and enunciation delays. So we may be in for some speech therapy with Henry as well. Here are his latest stats:

Weight: 29 lbs even, up from 26lb 1.5oz (65% percentile up from 50%)
Height: 36.75 in, up from 34.5 in (95% percentile up from 90%)

Remains about 2 lb lighter than Luke at this age but the same height. No wonder he is in a 2T/3T shirt but 12-18 month pants!
