roll over, i'm crowded...

My baby rolled over this morning and I missed it!! I heard him talking to himself this morning at 8 and went in to get him and he was on his tummy, looking around like, hey, what is the big deal? Hopefully I will be able to catch him in video form so I can post it soon...

my first taste of food...

Yesterday I was holding Henry in my lap while I was eating a banana and talking to Luke at the same time. I feel a little hand on mine and realize that Henry is pulling my hand with the banana towards his mouth and taking a bite of the banana. Hmmm, what could he be trying to say? ;) So I gave him a bit and he gobbled it down eagerly.

So at 4.5 months, earlier than I had anticipated, I started giving him something to eat--starting out with the rice cereal with some bananas mixed in. And so far, so good. He loves eating and has never turned his head away from more. Usually I am the one cutting him off!!! I guess soon we'll move on to apples, pears, and peaches--oh my!!!
