6 month check-up...

Henry had his 6 month check-up this week...I cannot believe that he is that old! Besides being developmentally perfect ;), he seems to have gotten his brother's ear infection--doh! The doctor was impressed by how well he can sit up independently and roll over, and also by how much he can eat! This kid loves food. On to his stats: his weight is 17lb 13.5 oz (50th percentile) and his length is 27.5 in (75th percentile.) He is gaining ground on Luke--he was about a pound and 1.5 inch behind Luke at 4 months, and now Henry is only about 6 oz and one inch behind.

And he is a looker too!

i'm cold!

Daddy took Henry outside for a few seconds in the snow--without a hat!! He seemed....cold. Just kidding, he enjoyed his brief stint outdoors, but loved standing (with help) at the window and watching big brother and Daddy out in the snow and the snow falling.

my new (old) high chair...

We had to break Luke's old high chair out of the attic this weekend for Henry. He was getting just too wiggly to sit in his little Bumbo chair on the table--always trying to grab everyone's cup and plate. He sits in it very well and is getting better and better sitting independently on the floor; he can make it about 30 seconds or so now before he falls on his face!
